Professor of Neuroscience Convert to Islam

R. Fidelma O'Leary awarded the Women of Spirit in 2012. He is a Professor of Biology at the University of St. Edward's in Austin, Texas, USA.
Texas native woman who is a Professor of Neuroscience at the University of Texas, has found peace in Islam. Dr Fidelma, also as a Doctor of Neurology at sebuat hospitals in the US, dazzled when reviewing the nerves in the human brain. One thing that makes him dazzled is to know that there are some nervous people who do not enter the blood. And every inch of the human brain requires a supply of blood to function normally.

After conducting research carefully and take a long time, Dr Fidelma finally found the fact that the nerve fibers in the brain that does not enter the blood except when someone is praying, when the position of prostration! After the study, Dr Fidelma find out about Islam through Islamic books and discussions with Muslim colleagues. His confidence in the new Islamic religion espoused it so great. Now Dr Fidelma opened the clinic, "Treatment with Al-Quran". She continued to study the Islamic medicine and give treatment with the verses of the Qur'an and what is recommended Qur'an and the Hadith of the Prophet, for example by fasting, honey, Black Seed (black cumin), olive oil, and so forth.

Allah says: "And when you call to prayers, they make it (the prayer) as a mockery and ridicule-game. That is because they are a people who have no understanding. "(Surah Al Maidah: 58)
